After WWII there was a happy music that swung harder than most jazz.
It was salty, sexy, effervescent and sophisticated.
This music predated the explosion of rock'n'roll
and though it did produce a handful of crossover stars, most notable
Louis Prima, Louis Jordan & his Timpani Five and T-bone Walker,
this music was largely the private province of America's urban black communities.
The hottest sound around was known as JUMP BLUES.
And, after a half - century, it remains enormously influential.
Just ask Robert Plant, Brian Setzer, Gatemouth Brown, B.B. King or
ask the band down at the local Bar, filling the dance floor with it's
own version of Stormy Monday, or Caladonia.
JUMP BLUES is taste tested and timeless and nobody plays
JUMP BLUES with more verve, authority, vigor and precision than THE SENDERS !
